Bell Canada announced today that it has launched its response to Cable Telephony competition.www.bell.ca/digitalvoice. There are 2 different services being offered. The $40 Digital Voice service has been introduced as a traditional Bell Landline replacement. This VoIP service allows you to keep your own telephone number, use of all your existing phones and jacks, and have enhanced 911 service (much the same as the traditional 911 service). The VoIP functionality is at the backend. There are tons of new features available with this service – please visithttp://www.digitalvoice.belloffers.ca/teaser-demo/en.html
Bell Digital Voice Lite service is a solution similar to that being offered by Vonage, Rogers, and other new entrants into the VoIP market. This solution requires a highspeed internet connection and use of an ATA adapter. This solution is well suited for additional lines, and if you require portability with your telephone numbers.
Today I proceeded to migrate my traditional landline service to the New Bell Digital Voice offering. I am recommending all of my readers to evaluate the benefits of this new service offering, and consider switching to this new telephony platform.
Loved it!
I would like to introduce you to my good friend Crystal’s website.
I’d be fooling myself if I thought I could articulate in any type of manner the intricate and interesting persona that she and her work possess.

Hi All,
It seems as though ralphmeiers.ca had an unexpected outage over the weekend. The problem has since been resolved. I did a complete restore of the site, using a backup copy. At first I believed there was a database corruption, but that ultimately was not the cause. I will continue to monitor the site.

IPIT? Was it? ISIT?
It’s hard to remember how it felt before
Now I found the love of my life…
Passes things get more comfortable
Everything is going right
And after all the obstacles
It’s good to see you now with someone else
And it’s such a miracle that you and me are still good friends
After all that we’ve been through
I know we’re cool
We used to think it was impossible
Now you call me by my new last name
Memories seem like so long ago
Time always kills the pain
Remember Harbor Boulevard
The dreaming days where the mess was made
Look how all the kids have grown
We have changed but we’re still the same
After all that we’ve been through
I know we’re cool
And I’ll be happy for you
If you can be happy for me
Circles and triangles, and now we’re hangin’ out with your new girlfriend
So far from where we’ve been
I know we’re cool
It seems as though I’m on an endless journey of self-improvement and education. I’ve decided to go back to school part-time to get my webmasters certificate. Creation, organization and maintenance of today’s sophisticated Web pages require specialized knowledge of server technology and client-side and server-side scripting.
I LOVE IT!
Oh how I love the political game of drama as exhibited in this season of Big Brother. This game truly changes every day! Summer of Secrets – I do agree that James needs to go…he’s a slime ball. He’s overtly obnoxious – and what’s with the eyebrows? Ummm…I think someone went a wee bit too PLUCK crazy.
I’m really feeling for April – she’s like a hardcore nicotine addict…and she’s just run out of cigarettes. I laughed my ass off this episode – watching April state that she occasionally smokes. Mmm hmm…3 cartons of cigs…I don’t think so. She obviously thought she’d be going home sooner than she did.

Originally believed to be an operating system ‘revolution’, Microsoft recently announced that Windows ‘Vista’ aka ‘Longhorn’ is now available to MSDN subscribers as a Beta 1 version. The general feel is that Vista will be much less a revolution, and more of an evolution of XP. I have been paying close attention to Longhorn development for the the past 2 1/2 years, and I hope that Vista lives up to the original hype and promises made by Microsoft that Vista would define a digital decade.
Microsoft recently announced that the commercial name for the next iteration of Windows would be ‘Vista’. I wonder if this name selection has anything to do with Microsoft’s close relationship with Bell. Bell’s most popular line of residential telephones is the Vista line. The vista line was revolutionary with the original launch of the Vista 100, then 200, then the runaway success of the interactive screen phone Vista 350 and the current versions the Vista 390 and 480. The majority of Canadians are very familiar with ‘Vista’ and as such, Windows Vista is surely to conjure up memories of great technological innovation.

I also find that Paul Thurrott’s http://www.winsupersite.com/ also provides Windows followers with great indepth analysis of Microsoft commercial software products. As well, for all you ‘tekkies’ out there check out http://channel9.msdn.com/.
