Over the weekend Phil and I journeyed up to the Ontario Science Centre in order to grab a glimpse of the soon to be gone BodyWorlds2 exhibit. We ended up arriving at the centre around 12:00, at which time the earliest entrance into BodyWorlds2 was 6:30. I wasn’t driving all the way to the science centre, just to turn back home. We made the decision to catch a couple of movies playing at the OMNIMAX (which is a giant IMAX screen, large enough to cover almost your entire peripheral view).
There were a total of three movies playing, but we were only able to catch two. The one was called Fighter Pilot, and the other was called Mysteries of the Nile. By far, the mysteries of the nile was the superior of the two.
The Ontario Science Centre is going through somewhat of a re-birth with a new Weston Phase 1 exhibit complete, and Phase 2 opening over the summer.
Walking through some of the exhibits conjured up memories of going to the Science Centre with my sister and parents when I was a child. It also brought flashbacks of the 90’s rave scene, when I ventured to the last hullabaloo party ever held at the centre called “Citrus“. If anyone has any information of this event please let me know. Pics would be great.
I will post an article up tomorrow on the actual BodyWorlds2 experience.
